SHIPPING POLICY
3.1 Shipping Regions
Shaiglo Inc. currently ships to:
- All provinces and territories in Canada
- All states in the United States
We do not currently offer international shipping outside North America. If you attempt to ship to an unsupported region, your order will be cancelled and refunded.
3.2 Order Processing Times
Standard Processing: Orders are processed within 1-3 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding Canadian statutory holidays) from order confirmation.
Extended Processing: During peak seasons (holidays, promotional events, new product launches), processing may take 3-5 business days. We will notify customers of any expected delays.
Processing Time Excludes:
- Weekends and holidays
- Transit/delivery time
Order Cut-Off: Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST are processed the next business day.
3.3 Shipping Carrier & Methods
Primary Carrier: All orders are shipped via UPS (United Parcel Service).
Shipping Methods Available:
- UPS Ground (Standard)
- UPS 2nd Day Air (Expedited)
- UPS Next Day Air (Express) – available for select regions
Shipping options and costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- Order weight and dimensions
- Delivery destination
- Selected shipping speed
3.4 Estimated Delivery Times
Transit times begin after the order ships, not when the order is placed.
Canada:
- UPS Ground: 2-7 business days
- UPS Expedited: 1-3 business days
United States:
- UPS Ground: 3-10 business days
- UPS 2nd Day Air: 2 business days
- UPS Next Day Air: 1 business day
Please Note:
- Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees
- Remote or rural areas may experience longer transit times
- Delays due to weather, customs, carrier issues, or force majeure are beyond our control
3.5 Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated automatically at checkout and vary based on:
- Destination address
- Package weight and size
- Shipping method selected
Free Shipping Promotions: We occasionally offer free shipping promotions. Terms and minimum order requirements will be clearly stated during promotional periods.
3.6 Order Tracking
Tracking Information: Once your order ships, you will receive:
- Shipping confirmation email
- UPS tracking number
- Link to track your package
Tracking Updates: Tracking information may take 24-48 hours to become active in the UPS system.
3.7 Delivery & Signature Requirements
Standard Delivery: Most orders do not require a signature. Packages will be left at the delivery address unless:
- The carrier determines the area is unsafe
- The package value exceeds carrier thresholds
- You request signature confirmation
Delivery Issues: If no one is available to receive the package:
- UPS may leave a delivery notice
- You can arrange redelivery or pickup through UPS
- After multiple delivery attempts, packages may be returned to us
Address Accuracy: You are responsible for providing an accurate, complete shipping address. We are not responsible for:
- Lost or delayed packages due to incorrect addresses
- Additional fees for address corrections
- Packages delivered to the address you provided (even if incorrect)
3.8 Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)
Canada to USA Shipments: Cross-border shipments may be subject to:
- US customs clearance
- Import duties or taxes assessed by US Customs
- Customs brokerage fees charged by the carrier
Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by your country. These charges are not included in our product or shipping prices and must be paid by the recipient upon delivery.
Customs Delays: Customs clearance can cause unpredictable delays. We have no control over customs processes or associated fees.
3.9 Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to:
- Incorrect address provided by customer
- Refusal of delivery
- Failure to collect after delivery attempts
You may:
- Pay for reshipping to a corrected address
- Request a refund minus original shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee
3.10 Lost or Damaged Shipments
Lost Packages: If tracking shows your package as delivered but you did not receive it:
- Check with neighbors or household members
- Verify the delivery address
- Contact UPS directly to file a claim
- Contact us at info@shaiglo.ca if the package cannot be located
We will assist in filing carrier claims but cannot offer replacements until claims are resolved.
Damaged Packages: If your package arrives damaged:
- Photograph the packaging and product damage
- Contact us at info@shaiglo.ca within 48 hours of delivery
- We will evaluate and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate
3.11 Shipping Restrictions
We cannot ship to:
- P.O. Boxes (depending on shipping method)
- Military APO/FPO addresses (currently unavailable)
- International destinations outside Canada and USA
- Addresses identified as freight forwarders (at our discretion)
